Fix it!

I got this email at 2:48 am from a co-worker about an article we've been co-authoring. The topic is very difficult, but I had to laugh as he listed everything he thought needed fixing.

"Well, I worked on it all weekend, and I don't think it is much closer to
done. Mark is really wanting to see copy on Monday (which began a few hours
ago, unfortunately).

I fear it is:
Too preachy
Too heady
Not practical
Not interesting

I know it is:
Too long
Endless (literally, there is no ending right now)
Missing a focus statement (ok, well it is tacked on the end as some kind of
summary)
Late (like the time?)

CAN YOU HELP ME?
