It seems like lately all my humor comes through my computer... I'm so lonely at work!
Here's a recent IM with one of my computer programmer friends that made me laugh...
(background: we were trying to figure out why I got an error message when I tried to change my password)

Nathan: normally it also will update your network password (the one you use to log into your PC) to match. but that failed because.... well, it's technical and it's not my fault

Becky: ok, so is that changed now too? or not?

Nathan: nope, it tried to change it, but the server didn't accept the change, so that's why you got the error message

Becky: ah... so it is your fault

Nathan: no, no, no... network team's fault

Becky: I see.. shifting blame... that's all that really happens over there, isn't it?
