Love Languages

"The pastor at church today told this story: He is a fairly young guy, maybe later 20s- mid-30s, and he has been dating a gal in Brazil for 10 months. He was there not too long ago and was sitting on the beach enjoying the the view, the water, etc.
when a white rose suddenly washed up on the shore where he was sitting. He was amazed and wondered what it meant, maybe something about his relationship with this gal...the rose was really well preserved and he wondered if salt water somehow did something to preserve it.
So he sat there a little longer and ANOTHER well-preserved white rose washed up on the shore. He simply couldn't believe it and thought it was from the Lord. He wandered around a little bit to see if there were more roses to see if this was a gift from God or if they were coming from somehwere, but he couldnt find a source.
So he decided to give the two roses to his girlfriend just to say that he cared about her.
But when he gave them to her, she started laughing hysterically. She explained that people in Brazil put roses in the water as a sacrifice to the gods of prostitution, and that it was an offense to the Brazilians for anyone to mess with the roses.

The reason fo the story was an example of 'love languages' and that he didn't understand the love language of the Brazilian
people.
